Reformed Novial

 During the last months I have been busy on the project that has as a result this book called Reformed Novial. As its name shows, it is my attempt at reforming Novial, the language created by Otto Jespersen.

He introduced Novial in his book An International Language, which he published in 1928. Then, two years later, he published the dictionary Novial Lexike. The language was modified several times and, after Jespersen’s death in 1943, it was forgotten. With the Internet it has had a certain revival, and different “Novialidos” have been created. This one, Reformed Novial, tries to improve the language following some ideas taken from other languages, like Esperanto or Occidental.

A dictionary will be published in the months to come.
